Glad it warmed up later in the day. Went to lunch with a couple of friends, Flo and Dana, at the Guenther House. The room where we ate lunch.
This house is now on the historical register. The owner of a grist mill built the house near the mill. The mill is still in existence today. Sells under the name of Pioneer and White Wing. Some pictures of the exterior. The grounds had cyclamen and pansies in bloom.
One of the rooms had a candy house displayed. It took more than 150 hours to assemble and used more than 90 pounds of candy. If you look real close you might see the candy legos.
The Guenther House is along the river route. It was a nice sunny day.
We then took a drive along one of the streets that has the historical homes. Some of them still had their fountains going.
Tomorrow won't be as much fun. Cleaning, laundry, and if the weather holds, cleaning out the storage underneath. Oh well. It can't always be fun, right.
